There's one person behind Event Doorbell, and he reads everything. Most answers are below; anything else, email is the fastest way to a real reply.
Best for bugs, account questions, and deletion requests. Usually answered the same day.
Helpful to include: the event code, whether you're the host or a guest, and what you saw versus what you expected.
Quick questions, feedback, or to say the sign worked.
Check the sign is for the right event and that it hasn't expired — one-off events last 24 hours. Any phone camera works; there's nothing to install. If the printed code is scuffed, reprint it: the QR carries error correction, but only so much.
Browsers won't play sound until you've interacted with the page. Tap Turn on alerts once, leave the tab open, and the dashboard will also hold a wake lock so the screen doesn't sleep.
They need to sign in with the exact address you added — check the spelling in the Edit panel. Their invite email also has a "remove my access" link, so if they used it by mistake, add them again.
Check spam first. Links expire after 15 minutes and work once, so request a fresh one if there's any doubt. Still nothing? Email me and I'll look at the delivery log.
Switch on Background graphics in your print dialog, or pick one of the lighter sign designs — Editorial, QR First, Ticket, and Spotlight are all light on ink.
Email hello@mattevanstech.com and it goes, along with the events you own. Guest names were already deleted with each event — see the privacy policy.
